Common questions

Quran classes for men — FAQs

Do I need to know Arabic before I start? +
No. If you've never read Arabic script before, you start with Noorani Qaida, which teaches the alphabet and letter sounds from scratch. Most adult male students begin here or move straight into Tajweed if they already read Arabic but want to correct their pronunciation.
Will my teacher be male? +
Yes. All students enrolled through our men's classes are matched with a qualified male Ustadh. Many of our male tutors are Ijazah-certified and have years of experience teaching adult beginners as well as experienced reciters.
What if I can only attend in the evening or on weekends? +
That's the norm for most of our male students. We offer evening and weekend scheduling across US, Canadian, UK, and Australian time zones, and you choose the days and times that fit your work schedule during your free trial booking.
How long does it take to learn Tajweed as an adult? +
Most adult students build a solid command of the core Tajweed rules within a few months of regular weekly classes, with a complete structured Tajweed course typically taking up to a year depending on your starting level and practice between lessons. Your teacher sets a realistic pace based on your goals.
I'm a revert to Islam — can I start here with no background? +
Yes, and it's very common. Many of our male students are reverts starting their Quran journey with zero prior exposure to Arabic or Quran reading. Your teacher will start from the very beginning and build your confidence step by step.
Is there a free trial class? +
Yes. New students get one free 30-minute trial class with no credit card required, so you can meet your teacher and confirm the class works for your schedule before enrolling.
